Who is eligible to apply for a welfare financing?

UM Staff (Operational) serving under permanent status only
The permanent staff under probation is eligible to apply for the welfare loan. Contract employees, on the other hand, are not eligible for this perk
Yes, as long as the preceding loan has been paid in full.
The minimum is RM 100.00 and the maximum is RM 1,500.00.
Not exceeding 10 months
The approval amount is subject to a 3% service charge.

The application form is available on the UMPortal [UMportal>PTjinfo-Bendahari>Bil.7 borang digunapakai> Pengurusan Pembayaran Dan Kewangan Staf> Skim Pinjaman Tabung Kebajikan Kakitangan Sokongan (Syarat dan Borang)]

The completed form must be submitted to:

Payment Section, Financial Services Department,
Bursary, Level 2, Chancellery Building,
Universiti Malaya.
