NOTICE OF FEE DEDUCTIONS FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
UNDER PTPTN FUNDING
BATCH: 24^TH OCTOBER 2023

Dear Undergraduate Students under PTPTN funding,

Please be informed that some students will be receiving PTPTN funding on 24^th October 2023 (Tuesday). Our office has deducted the actual fee for Tuition Fees and the outstanding fees (if any) as of 23^rd October 2023. Therefore, we will update the students’ accounts in MAYA between 24^th October 2023 to 25^th October 2023.

For students' information, the deduction made is for tuition fees only and does NOT INCLUDE accommodation fees UNLESS it involves arrears or the accommodation fees have been charged. Accordingly, students are advised to check the statement of account in MAYA starting 26^th October 2023 to ensure that the deduction amount has been updated.

Please note that:

• If the total PTPTN deduction is less than the actual fee amount, the student is required to settle the remaining arrears to the University or;
• If the total PTPTN deduction is more than the actual fee amount, students can apply for a refund through the MAYA portal (FINANCE> FEES AND PAYMENT> REQUEST REFUND);
• If there is no PTPTN deduction, students must pay the remaining arrears to the University.

Students who are involved with student exchange programs and face any problems in this regard can submit inquiries through UM HELPDESK.
