We would like to express our deep gratitude for your generous support. Indeed, your zakat payments are very meaningful to the asnaf in the university. Attached is the Zakat Distribution Report from 1st January 2021 – 31st May 2021.
Please also be informed that the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP) has allowed UM to distribute zakat to non-Muslim students in accordance with the stipulated guideline. The approval was given in writing on 4th December 2020.
Let's start/increase zakat payment and enjoy 100% income tax rebate.
