BURSARY’S OPERATION DURING MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER (MCO) [1/2020]
The above matter is referred to.
2. In line with the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) from 18 March 2020 till 31 March 2020, the Bursary will be operated minimally from 18 to 31 March 2020. We recognize that we continue to have responsibilities towards UM community and will deliver our work to the best of our abilities in these current circumstances, involving:
(i) Salary will be credited as scheduled on 25th March 2020;
(ii) Claims, bills, and invoices that have been submitted to the Bursary (in the system or hardcopy) before/on 17th March 2020 will be processed accordingly; and
(iii) Procurement activities will be postponed until further notice. The closing date for the existing procurement bid/tender/advertisement (that falls on 18 Mac 2020 onwards) will be extended for 14 days whilst the new procurement activities will be postponed until 1st April 2020.
(iv) UM’s procurement dealings were postponed until ordering this movement to be canceled. The closing date of the advertisements/procurement offers which falls on 18 March 2020 onwards will be extended for 14 days and the opening of new advertisements/procurement offers will be postponed until 1 April 2020.
